6 Myths of Entrepreneurship

Despite appearances, MIT research data show that Entrepreneurs are not:

  • The smartest or highest achievers. It is more about being willing to filter out everything else to focus on their dream
  • Individualists. Entrepreneurship is all about creating a team
  • Born, but made, through rigorous work
  • Risk lovers. They rather “un-risk” risk, by taking the risk in an area where they have an unfair advantage
  • Successful due to charisma. Leadership, Vision, Relationships, “Innovation engineering”, and a personal signature are more common important traits among successful leaders
  • Undisciplined. As attackers by nature, Entrepreneurs need extreme discipline to achieve when attacking with scarce resources
